ThinkorSwim AutoWave
If matching QCharts AutoWave ZigZag capability is desired, this is the only ThinkScript indicator for ThinkorSwim that does so.
ThinkorSwim AutoWave ZigZag
Frequently requested but never replicated—until now!
This indicator mimics QCharts’ AutoWave ZigZag function.
However, ThinkorSwim already has a ZigZag indicator.
Yes, and while it can come close to replicating the QCharts AutoWave, it cannot duplicate it. Check out the video below. After much tinkering with the parameters, the ZigZagHighLow may be made to nearly resemble the AutoWave.
Everything appears to be in order until the chart is scrolled back, the symbol is changed, or the time-frame is altered. The ZigZagHighLow parameters must be modified for each ticker symbol and chart update.
If matching QCharts AutoWave ZigZag capability is desired, this is the only ThinkScript indicator for ThinkorSwim that does so.
The script settings panel allows you to alter the placement and color of the price change labels.

How to Understand Technical Analysis: Discover Technical Analysis
In finance, technical analysis is a system for anticipating price direction based on prior market data, particularly price and volume.
Many of the instruments used in behavioral economics and quantitative analysis are also used in technical analysis, which, as a part of active management, contradicts much of contemporary portfolio theory.
The efficient-market theory, which claims that stock market prices are inherently unpredictable, challenges the usefulness of both technical and fundamental analysis.
