DescriptionOver the next 15 years, joint replacements are expected to increase by up to 673 percent, and as 60 becomes the new 40, more patients than ever are undergoing these procedures with the expectation of a complete return to function and many active years ahead. This lecture delves into cutting-edge strategies for achieving high-level functional improvements and returning patients to their everyday activities.
Terry Trundle shares his 38 years of practical, evidence-based solutions with this specific group. Learn about the risks and advantages of today’s surgical treatments, with a focus on newer, less invasive choices like hemiarthroplasty and reverse prosthesis, and how pre- and post-op therapy is developing to keep up. Take the tools you’ll need for tomorrow with you now, such as:
Patients can perform practical activities at home and at a young age.
