MSN, MHA, RN-BC, CEN, PCCN Marcia Gamaly has over twenty years of nursing experience at the bedside and in staff development. Marcia is presently employed at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, as a clinical nurse educator. In her present position, she is responsible for overseeing and planning the educational requirements of over 250 nurses and support workers on a range of units, including a step-down, neuro-tele, and medical-surgical units. She has created and taught on a wide range of topics, including critical care, progressive care, medical-surgical, cancer, and emergency nursing certification courses. Telemetry skills day, medical-surgical skills day, cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation, post-operative care, and heart failure are among the other presentations. Marcia also works as a per-diem emergency department staff nurse and is a teacher for BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and ASLS.
She is a Villanova University doctorate student with a research focus in bariatrics.
She is a qualified medical-surgical nurse, progressive care nurse, emergency nurse, and professional staff development specialist. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Emergency Nurses Association, and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
