Description
Don’t be a victim of the stock market; there is something you can do about it. Swing trading is a stock market strategy that focuses on short-term ups and downswings in share prices and market indexes rather on value (which, as many have discovered, is a moving feast). Although the number of swing traders grows by the day, few traders are aware that there is a sort of chart, a swing chart, that is developed exclusively for swing trading. Marc Rivalland, author of the ‘The Trader’ column in Investors Chronicle, demonstrates how swing charts may be used to master market timing in this groundbreaking book. Furthermore, Marc unveils previously unknown changes to Gann swing charts that make them even more beneficial for stock market traders. “A study of swings in active stocks will convince a guy that he may earn considerably more gains in swings than in any other form of trading,” W. D. Gann remarked. Gann and more are included in this book. Furthermore, Marc draws on his two decades of expertise with point-and-figure charts to provide readers with an up-to-date and totally current appraisal of the finest point-and-figure signals to employ when trading specific stocks. The popularity of point and figure is skyrocketing. This book will provide readers with new insights into this tried and true 100+ year old way of graphing share values. Marc explains his own way for merging swing charts with point & figure charts to boost the likelihood of success even higher. There includes a chapter on the critical RSI indicator, as well as a part dedicated specifically to individuals who choose to be more passive – long-term buy-and-hold investors. The finest trading strategies are given in each situation. Each approach is analyzed critically. The benefits are emphasised, but the drawbacks are not ignored. Overall, the reader will gain a highly informed assessment of the finest, most disciplined approach to the markets. The book is written in a very practical approach. To illustrate the concepts being discussed, over 100 color charts of real-life trading situations are provided. The charts are labeled meticulously and supplemented by clear and intelligent comments. The precise location of the buy and sell signals is displayed. The key book for stock market investors and traders is ‘Marc Rivalland on Swing Trading.’
