Logan Banks, DO, works as a full-time medical missionary in Burundi, East Africa. He is a professor of Family Medicine and Obstetrics at Hope Africa University and the Director of Medical Education at Kibuye Hope Facility, the university’s rural teaching hospital. In addition, he is an adjunct faculty member at Cox Family Medicine Residency in Springfield, Missouri. Dr. Banks attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school and then completed his residency at Cox Family Medical Residency in Springfield, Missouri, followed by a fellowship in international family medicine. Dr. Banks is deeply committed to education and the development of the next generation of physicians and leaders, particularly in Africa.
