So, what exactly is NLP?
NLP is an abbreviation for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. The term “neurology” refers to your nervous system.
Linguistic relates to language, whereas programming refers to how that neurological language works.
In other words, studying NLP is like learning your own mind’s language!
NLP is the study of effective communication with yourself and others.
It was modeled after exceptional communicators and therapists who achieved success with their clients.
NLP is a collection of tools and approaches, but it is so much more.
It is an attitude and a process for achieving your goals and getting results.
Author
Since 1979, John has provided counseling and coaching in a variety of settings, including hospitals and mental health facilities, as well as people, small enterprises, and major organizations. He has taught hundreds of NLP, Coaching, and Hypnosis classes to small and big groups all over the world.
There are few trainers with the breadth and depth of expertise that John possesses. Many of the people he has coached over the previous 20 years have gone on to become well regarded coaches, hypnotherapists, and trainers throughout the world. Much of what you will learn cannot be found in books; it can only be learned via considerable experience in psychotherapy, hypnosis, NLP, coaching, and training in these fields.
