Joe Corona – Professional Options Trading College
Archive : Joe Corona – Professional Options Trading College
For the past 23 years, I, Joe Corona, have been able to support myself solely through options trading. After beginning my professional life at the CBOE in 1982, where I worked for three and a half years as Tony Saliba’s trading desk manager, I now head a proprietary trading and consulting firm focused on trading U.S., European, and Asian derivatives. For some of the world’s largest financial institutions, I have also personally coached hundreds of options and derivative traders.
The vast majority of option classes will either introduce you to complex mathematical concepts like delta, theta, vega, etc., or will teach you the basics of buying puts and calls and engaging in covered-call writing. NOTHING LIKE THAT IS DONE IN MY COURSE! The methods I will be teaching you are ones that I (and other Chicago experts) have employed effectively for years, or ones that have had at least ten years of statistical and systematic verification that an edge has existed.
Two decades ago, when I first started trading, I could have used a lesson like this one on options. Options trading often involves the application of mathematics. That works, but it’s missing something. Numerous investors speculate on the market’s future direction by purchasing calls and puts (most of them lose). Knowing how to find and trade low-risk options that have the potential for big gains is essential for successful professional trading of options and requires the use of technical analysis tools and systems with edges.
Since I will be backing up the tactics I teach in my course with actual, live trading, you can rest certain that it is both accessible and effective. A training like this has been much required in the options business, and to my knowledge, this is the only one of its sort.
