I proceed swiftly through the material since many students prefer a quick learning pace. Do you prefer a slower pace? Many students find that re-watching lectures or stopping them at critical learning periods helps them comprehend the content.
I also employ shortcuts, which many great designers learn to use to boost productivity and maximize efficiency, so after you join, be sure to grab the course shortcut hotsheet: a PDF containing several of the most-used shortcut codes so that you can follow along simply and fast.
In this course, I’ll also show you how to create some of the industry’s most popular projects, such as:
Custom logos, business cards, brochures, flyers, online graphics, and more are available.
What Students Think About This Course:
“I’ve been using Adobe CC for a few years now, but everything I’ve learnt has been from doing. While some of this has been basic because I’m already familiar with the tools, there are some tricks and advice that I would never have known that make life MUCH easier (the “content-aware” fill is a game changer) and I really enjoy the pacing and manner in which he explains the tools, techniques, and theory!” Nikki Tetreault’s
“This course is excellent. The instructor is incredibly kind and clear (the US accent is foreign to me, so I find it difficult to understand at times – the tutor here is fantastic, doesn’t speak too quickly and is clear, without too many colloquialisms). I’m really enjoying the lessons. I feel adequately prepared for the objective for which I enrolled in the course. I would absolutely suggest and take more courses taught by this teacher.” Kiss, Alvira
“I began this course with minimal knowledge and have happily learned a lot over this semester. I can’t wait to learn more about this field and leave my impact on the world, and it’s all because to this course for getting me started!” Charles Vaughn’s
“So far, everything has gone swimmingly. As a student who suffers in traditional academic settings, the flexibility to pause, take notes, rewind, and go back and forth as needed has been quite beneficial. The teacher has been straightforward and accurate, and he has provided us with lots to think about while we create files.” Samantha Finn’s
“I’ve been working with Photoshop for over ten years and I’m still learning from this course.” – Aryne Cabatan, Neil
What You Can Expect:
Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator are the industry-standard graphic design software. I’ll also go over important vocabulary and design techniques to help you produce pixel-perfect print and digital projects, with the objective of getting you up and running as fast as possible so you can begin your new and exciting career as a graphic designer.
Don’t worry if you’re not wanting to study design for a profession – this is a terrific course for you as well! Many of my students are parents seeking to design amusing cards or invites, students trying to spice up their resumes and social media visuals, and instructors looking to add some creative touches to their assignment papers. Everyone can benefit from design! And so is this course!
There is also a private Facebook community with over 13,000 students and counting, which is a fantastic resource for you to use while taking the course. The group is a fantastic location to publish ideas, receive insightful feedback, and network with other like-minded students and working professionals from all around the world.
All project files are available for free download at the beginning of each segment, and you are free to use them however you see fit, or just to follow along with the projects as you progress through the lessons.
As previously said, I also cover a number of application shortcuts in this course!
For the most part, the ideas you will learn in this course transcend the tools you use – students are using Adobe versions ranging from CS3 to CC 2019, and some are even utilizing applications like Sketch and Pixelmator to complete some of the tasks in this course.
Please let me know if you notice anything in any of the lectures that no longer applies after the software upgrade! I’m doing my best to keep this course up to date and relevant for you.
