The IOA has a policy that any physician who is unsatisfied with the CME program will get a refund upon request, and no CME credits will be recorded to the AOA. Complaints on Evaluation Forms are also considered for designing future CME events, and may result in modifications in format or content.

Mr. Shirley also has specialist knowledge in Corporate Integrity Agreements, including implementation, policy development, and compliance. He has extensive expertise in preventative compliance, responding to negative government agency actions, and transactional work. Mr. Shirley has comprehensive knowledge of Medicaid rules, regulations, and programs at the state and federal levels. Mr. Shirley advises on Medicaid and Medicaid managed care reimbursement, telehealth and telemedicine, Medicaid waiver programs, Medicaid pharmacy rules and procedures, and many other related issues and transactions on a daily basis. Mr. Shirley has special familiarity with federal and state opioid prescription restrictions and provider regulations in Indiana.
