If you are thinking about utilizing a hypnosis session, you undoubtedly want to know about the values and background of the individuals who produced it. So continue reading…
Uncommon Knowledge, a specialised psychology training firm founded in 1995, operates Hypnosis Downloads.
At Uncommon Knowledge, we strongly believe in common sense psychology and base our approach on the premise that humans have a set of “primal needs” that, if unsatisfied, can lead to psychological and physical disorders.
All of the sessions at Hypnosis Downloads were designed by Uncommon Knowledge directors Roger Elliott and Mark Tyrrell, with assistance from our team, notably Joe Kao and Rebekah Hall.
What makes us unique
Not all hypnosis is the same, and some of it is plain strange. But we work hard to ensure that our psychology is sound and supported by research, and we have five key areas of differentiation…
Every session is overseen by four experienced therapy minds. And we work really hard to guarantee that each session is a piece of art.
We are experienced therapist trainers; since our inception in 1995, we have taught over 24,000 individuals in person.
We have offered over 600,000 self-hypnosis audio sessions and are the world’s largest hypnosis supplier.
Over 5,000 patients have been treated in personal 1:1 treatment by our team of four hypnotherapists.
Since we established our internet business in 2000, over 600,000 people have taken our email courses.
I hope this has persuaded you that you are at the proper place! We are in continual connection with our consumers, so please contact us by email, Facebook, or Twitter.
First and foremost, ethics
The Internet is flooded with websites that sell hypnosis goods and services that were not designed by trained experts and are not based on current research-based methods. Some of these initiatives are ineffective or useless, while others may cause more harm than benefit.
We work under our strong ethical rules at Hypnosis Downloads to guarantee that every program fulfills the highest professional standards, based on current research and expertise. We also utilize our understanding of what hypnosis is useful for to inform the things we discuss.
We will only create sessions for the following:
We were able to successfully cure ourself.
Or for whom there is evidence that hypnosis is effective.
And which common sense indicates hypnosis might actually assist (for example, there is no relationship that we can see between using hypnosis and growing taller, despite the fact that there are products that promise to do so!)
Why do we employ hypnosis?
We employ hypnosis, among other psychological methods, at Uncommon Knowledge because it is part of our human birthright and the foundation of any learning process. Without it, or via inadvertent misapplication, therapeutic endeavors can be difficult, time-consuming, and even make the issue worse rather than better.
Emotional disorders operate significantly more on the “feeling level” than the “thinking level,” which is why just trying to think differently is so difficult when attempting to overcome, say, panic attacks, feelings of poor self-worth, or phobias. We utilize hypnosis to immediately make you feel different, which causes you to think differently about a scenario. This is a much simpler and more natural method of resolving difficulties. However, we recognize that individuals are more than merely hypnotic, which is why our sessions also cover thinking processes and how to improve them in order to support good behavior in the future.

Phobias were long thought to be difficult or impossible to treat. Mark Tyrrell cures snake fear in the video above.
About the program’s developers and researchers
Mark and Roger used to run a busy hypnotherapy and psychotherapy practice in Brighton, England, where they provided brief, solution-focused treatment for a variety of psychological problems ranging from clinical depression, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and OCD to self-confidence, public speaking confidence, exam and driving test nerves, and more.
Uncommon Knowledge is a leader in the area of hypnotherapy due to its strong devotion to research-based practices, with spots on their year-long practitioners’ course in high demand (now supplanted by online therapy courses for practitioners and online hypnosis courses for the public).
