Dr. Houston has devised effective techniques of adapting mythic and symbolic material to the altering demands and difficulties of our day by utilizing key myths that shape societies and individuals. Jean Houston, Ph.D. in Psychology, is the author of more than 30 works on human and social development. She has worked in 109 countries as a consultant to UN programs and other international agencies, and she continues to advise on social arts abroad (human development in the light of social challenge and change). Jean is also the Chancellor of Meridian University, as well as the Co-Founder of Rising Women, Rising World.
