DescriptionDescription:
Neuroscience and neurophysiology breakthroughs reveal how a mentality may change what is switched on and off in the brain and body. The work of Siegel, Rossi, Bandura, Aronson & Steele, and Deci & Ryan help to explain why therapy can be interrupted by an imposed perspective and how this “winner/loser world” mindset is an invisible barrier to our more natural, creative, interpersonal process. A novel, easy short therapy for long-term, revolutionary change is provided.
Objectives of Education:
Explain the impact of mentality on brain and body function.
Describe the World Winner/World Loser Hypothesis.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*

Richard Hill has risen through a varied and exciting path to become a successful psychotherapist and a cutting-edge speaker on the mind, brain, and human condition. Richard returned to intellectual studies aged 42 (1996) after a fulfilling, if not quite famous, early career in the creative arts, commencing with a Bachelor of Arts specializing in linguistics. This piqued my interest, leading to a certificate in counselling and a new profession in psychotherapy. He continued his studies and, as of 2014, he has three Masters degrees from Sydney University: an MA in Social Ecology, an MEd, and a Masters in Brain and Mind Sciences (MBMSc). Richard is also lucky to have been mentored by the eminent Ernest Rossi PhD, who has encouraged Richard to join the International Psychosocial Genomics Research Team to explore the genetic influence of therapeutic methods.
