Even the most careful therapy plan might leave a client and therapist spinning their wheels, putting in a lot of effort but making little progress. It is quite simple for both to attempt something new just to end up doing more of the same. Participants will learn the therapeutic u-turn procedures, which involve lateral thinking and designing a new aim. To demonstrate points, a lecture, slides, and video tape examples will be utilized.
Objectives of Education:
To describe two components of designing a new goal.
To describe one therapeutic lateral thinking strategy.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
