MFA, PhD Diane Ackerman Seminars and goods that are related: 4Diane Ackerman, MFA, PhD, has written 23 volumes of poetry and nonfiction, the most recent of which are One Hundred Names for Love and The Zookeeper’s Wife. She has recently been writing in The New York Times Opinion sections about “nature and human nature.” Dianeackerone is a molecule named after her, which is a fairly unique distinction (a sex pheromone in crocodiles). She has lectured at several colleges, including Columbia and Cornell. Her pieces on nature and human nature have appeared in The New York Times, Smithsonian, Parade, The New Yorker, National Geographic, and many other publications for decades. She hosted A Natural History of the Senses, a five-hour PBS television series.

Dr. Daniel Siegel 40 related lectures and goods
Daniel Siegel, MD, obtained his medical degree from Harvard University and then went on to finish his postgraduate medical studies at UCLA, where he specialized in pediatrics, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. He is presently a clinical professor of psychiatry at UCLA School of Medicine, where he also serves on the faculty of the Center for Culture, Brain, and Development and is the co-founder of the Mindful Awareness Research Center. Dr. Siegel has given speeches for the King of Thailand, Pope John Paul II, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Google University, the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in London, and TEDx.
