Adam Glass – Industrial Strength Grip
Strongmen’s secret tool for adding inches to their arms and performing incredible feats of strength is now in your hands.
What hidden weaponry am I referring to? Hand dexterity. I’m talking about incredible thumb, finger, wrist, and arm strength that allows a guy to twist steel and lift hundreds of pounds with only one hand and one finger.
My name is Adam T Glass, and I’d want to share my interest with you. If you implement this knowledge, you will build great power and elevate your physique to a new level.
I’ve spent the last decade of my life working to improve my grip, hand, and wrist strength. This quest has rewarded me with a pair of hands that enable me to do incredible feats of strength and have carried over to all other sports activities.
I have not only mastered the secrets to grip strength, but I have also trained hundreds of others to accomplish these outcomes in order to shatter their objectives and better their previous lifts. Now I’m going to teach you.
Before I get into my tactics, I’d want to tell you how I got started.
Where it all started
Wrestling piqued my interest in grip strength while I was in high school. Wrestling matches may be defined as a battle for hand control in order to score take downs and pinning combinations. It is obvious that the man with the superior grip has a higher chance of winning the contest.
In the beginning, I had minimal assistance in developing my grasp. When I asked my coaches how I might strengthen my hands, they told me to crush a tennis ball. Squeezing a tennis ball may sound like a smart idea, but it didn’t help me much.
I discovered a book online that discussed the tactics of old circus strongmen. I honestly thought the stories of their feats of strength were exaggerated. I believed these were overblown reports at the time and disregarded many of them. I did, however, retain an open mind and try out some of the training (thank goodness!).
I dabbled in grip training for several years, largely with thick bar deadlifting and gripper exercises with my Ivanko Super Gripper. The majority of my time was spent doing hard partials and body weight training.
The watershed moment in my training…
I concentrated substantially on grip training in 2006. It all started with my fascination with steel bending. I was serving a lengthy tour in Iraq and was becoming tired of my normal exercises of kettlebell motions and deadlifting. I was looking for something new to dig my teeth into.
Dennis and I back in 2008.
I was blown away after purchasing a DVD by world-renowned strongman Dennis Rogers. Here was this diminutive and elderly man who could perform incredible things with his hands. The DVD held my attention. I had two thoughts: either this is a hoax or it’s true. If it’s a hoax, it’s really fun, but if it’s genuine, there’s no reason why I can’t do the same.
That month, I began bending steel bars. Within a few months, I’d bent the legendary IronMind Red Nail and progressed to harder material. I began to go insane and began bending rebar and steel in bizarre ways. I like the challenge of steel bending, and my strength gradually increased.
When I returned to the United States, I immersed myself in various forms of grip training. I raised weights with one finger, squeezed weights, and lifted them in a variety of positions. I began experimenting with various grip devices to test the hands from various angles.
My strength exploits rose and grew. With one blow of my hand, I could punch nails through a 2X4, lift 400 pounds with my middle finger, and twist tough draft horse shoes in seconds. By the end of 2008, I had acquired international recognition as one of the greatest short bar and horseshoe benders in the grip community. Many people said I was the world’s finest at ripping decks of poker cards in half. I looked for further information but was irritated by the dearth of decent tools to practice these lifts.
By the end of 2009, I had completed every grip target I had set for myself since the beginning. In either hand, I could smash a #3 Captain of Crush gripper and pinch lift the renowned Blob. I could deadlift more than 550 pounds with one hand. In all three approaches, I was able to bend some of the strongest steel bars at chest level. I was looking for new challenges.
Spike-equipped 24lb Sledge
One of the challenges I chose was to teach others how to accomplish this. To promote my passion for grip and hand strength, I published dozens of articles, made over 30 instructional films, and posted hundreds of times on numerous online forums.
The messages arrived quickly. Men from all over the world were making significant improvement as a result of the knowledge I supplied them. Many individuals informed me that seeing me “grow up” into the field of hand strength motivated them to start grip training. I discovered that I loved training people more than I did training myself.
Taking it a step farther
After 9 years of duty in the United States Air Force, I was honorably released in 2010 and immediately went to work full-time training others. During this time, I also decided to try my hand at grip sport competition.
In August 2010, I competed in the four-leg “Worlds Strongest Hands Series,” the largest grip competition ever held, with over 100 contestants from four nations. During this period, I set a new world record in the 2″ vertical bar one-handed dead lift with a competition lift of 336 pounds. When the dust settled, I was 11th in the world and the fourth best American in the series.
All of this is not to brag or boast. I tell you my tale to make one thing clear: you are about to learn grip training from someone who loves grip strength. Simply said, when it comes to someone to listen to in grip, everyone recognizes me as someone who walks the walk and knows what’s going on. I want to bring this neglected skill set to the people, I want my sport to grow, and most importantly, I want YOU to succeed.
V-Bar Deadlift World Record
The Industrial Strength Grip DVD was created as an entry-level offering for anybody wishing to add inches to their arms and forearms while also significantly increasing their hand strength and power. This DVD will walk you through the fundamental workouts and drills, as well as the tactics for achieving maximum results in the least amount of time.
Is Industrial Strength Grip suitable for me?
This DVD is designed to teach beginning and intermediate athletes and lifters the fundamentals of grip strength.
Would you like the following?
Larger arms?
Wrist and forearm tendons that are thicker?
Fingers that are stronger?
Thumb strength like a plier?
A grip that will never let you down during a large lift or pull?
The cornerstone for great strength feats?
A programming system that allows you to set a Personal Record with each lift?
If you want any of them, ISG is the place to be.
One exception exists. While I’d like to think I have something for everyone, this product might not be suitable for expert grip athletes.
You don’t need this DVD if you can perform all of the following feats.
Close a Captain of Crush #3 with both of your hands.
Pinch the glob with both your left and right hands.
Plate curling using a 20kg plate.
On a 2″ axle, overhand deadlift more than 350 lbs.
With one hand, pinch raise two 45s.
If you can do all of these tasks, you are not the intended audience for ISG Volume 1.
Now, if you CANNOT easily perform all of those things but WANT to: keep reading.
What do I need to apply this program?
One of my goals was to bring you a method using minimal specialized equipment to succeed. I do demonstrate many of the most popular grip devices on the market, but this program can be done with a single barbell and weight set.
How would you like to add an inch to your arms in the next 8 weeks?
Modern training systems have left a massive hole in your physique. While there are plenty of bigger arm fast programs, they are all the same old combination of curls and tricep extensions. The musculature of the arms begins at the finger tips. Adding pinch, crush, support, and levering will result in huge gains in your forearms and upper arms FAST. Most men who I train will add over 1” to their forearms the first 6 weeks and a whole inch to their upper arms in 8 weeks.
Stop for one second. Look at your forearms and arms. What would it be like to have an additional inch of high density muscle tissue added on?
It would look awesome, that’s what it would look like.
Throwing down the gauntlet
There is no product like Industrial Strength Grip on the market. No one else has laid out the foundation of grip training as I have here. No mystery, no inner circle mumbo jumbo, no wasting time.
In this 60 minute DVD I am going to lay out the plan for you to dramatically change your hands and arms forever. It’s simple, you get the DVD, you watch the DVD, you apply the information, and you reap huge rewards.
I will cover over 40 exercises which address all areas of grip and hand strength. I will show you approaches using both minimal equipment and how to use some of the more popular grip tools.
Most importantly, I am going to teach you how to make progress with your training every single day and never get hurt.
How does this sound to you?

Sending you a DVD of exercises with no instructions would only be mildly useful. I believe it’s best to teach a man to fish, so I am going to teach you to program your grip for unlimited gains.

I’m not the only one who can tell you what my training methods can do for you:
A couple of years ago I mistook my left hand for a bush and trimmed it with my electric hedgeclippers. When the bandages came off I could barely hold a bottle of water in my left hand. During rehab, my left hand was only able to apply 40 psi to a dynamometer. I decided it was time to pursue grip training. Instead of asking Adam for help, I stalked him on the internet and watched all of his videos. Eventually we started talking. Soon after, I got stronger. Over the last two years I’ve made a remarkable comeback from that injury with Adam’s help.
In that time he has never told me to use a technique just because it worked for him or one of his mentors. Instead he taught me how to find the best technique for me. He taught me how to “balance” out the grip training with exercises that have kept me clear of overuse and injury. Most importantly I learned from Adam a way to choose appropriate exercises, weights, reps and sets to streamline my training and honor my body.
I have seen him work one-on-one with people and I’ve seen him work in larger groups and he is one of the greatest teachers I know. He is able to present the depth of knowledge that he has about grip training in a systematic, logical and approachable way that would benefit anyone interested in increasing their hand strength or health.
– Gary J. Berenbroick, Gym Owner & Instructor
“Before I had met adam I never really gave much to training my grip. What I have learned from Industrial Strength Grip is priceless. He gives you the tools to you need to build tremendous hand strength. Whether it be for sports, helping lifts in the gym or just carrying groceries in the house, this DVD will help everyone. For myself, it has helped me be able to plate curl a 35 pound plate for 7 reps, plate pinch 80 pounds one hand, close a CoC 2.5 and much more. Pick this product up you won’t be disappointed.
– Frank Berean, New York
“Adam Glass has quickly proven to be a force in the Grip World, skyrocketing up the ranks of the sport and laying waste to former records all along the way.
His DVD should be a part of every aspiring Grip Athlete’s collection.”
– Jedd Johnson, CSCS, RKC, Red Nail & Captain of Crush Certified
