Marwa Azab, PhD, is a sought-after worldwide public speaker who has given five TEDx lectures on a variety of multidisciplinary issues. Springer Nature will publish her book on anxiety, terror, and panic (Dec. 2021). Dr. Azab’s blog for Psychology Today, “Neuroscience in Everyday Life,” has been seen over one million times, and he broadcasts the popular weekly episode “Inside the Anxious Mind” on Clubhouse. She has guided several groups for people suffering from a range of mental diseases, including anger management, stress management, interpersonal communication, and many more.
Dr. Azab is a psychology professor at Cal State University, Long Beach (CSULB). She presently teaches students in the psychopharmacology course and has previously taught in the biology department at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Dr. Azab observed that there were blind spots that needed to be filled from complementing domains after many years of treating human behaviors from a psychological perspective. As a result, she earned a PhD in Biological Sciences with a focus on Neuroscience from UCI.
