Are you ready to assist victims of human trafficking who walk through your office door? Perhaps you presently have a client on your caseload who is hiding in plain sight. Because they are unable to communicate, it is critical that you understand the warning signals.
Understanding trauma is insufficient to give appropriate and effective care for the difficulties these survivors have faced. Complex trauma is combined with brainwashing and Stockholm Syndrome in this demographic, resulting in an exceedingly complex set of requirements.
Dr. Shari Kim, a human trafficking expert, will walk you through these essential diagnosis and therapy strategies that precisely address a survivor’s unique set of requirements due to persistent and intrusive trauma. You’ll discover how to:
Identify the symptoms that a client has been trafficked, including what to look for throughout the session.
Differentiate between sex trafficking, labor trafficking, child soldiers, and organ donation victims.
Effectively treat PTSD, Stockholm Syndrome, and brainwashing symptoms
Reduce the prevalence of co-occurring disorders such as shame, anxiety, and drug misuse.
Create the optimal therapy setting for the greatest clinical outcomes.
Facilitate post-traumatic growth in order to assist clients in finding meaning following tragedy.
Purchase today and you’ll walk away with the tools you need to safely and expertly help clients through the transition from victim to survivor!
