Lauren will welcome you into the world of Energy Medicine Yoga with a look at the fundamental laws of the energy systems that regulate the body in this first lesson. Module 2: Recharge Your Batteries! — Transform Your Fear Into Courage
Every aspect of your mind, body, experiences, and life cycles, as well as our planet’s seasons and the planet itself, falls into one of five categories. If you’re always stressed or trapped in a trauma cycle, you may believe you’ve lost control of your life. To reclaim your power, you must remember what you want, how to ask for it, and, most importantly, how to accept it.
This session will teach you how to restore your inner voice and put it back into sync with your innermost purpose. You’ll be given skills to press forward with the assertiveness of the Wood element, armed with the courage of Water.
And if you’ve never had a sound healing before (or even if you have), you’re in for a real treat. Eileen McKusick, a well-known sound-therapy practitioner, will join us to bring all of our energies into balance. Please bring massage oil, preferably organic, to this practice. This session will also teach us the Ayurvedic practice of Nasya. Bring over some Nasya or sesame oil.

This is the point at which you realize there is a greater force — not necessarily in a religious sense, but in the sense that you are a spiritual being experiencing a human experience, and your spirit is always entire no matter what, even when you feel absolutely broken. Instead of being at the mercy of your brain’s crazy thoughts, you’ll learn how to train it.
